Break Free from Fear & Overwhelm –
Reclaim Your Life with Vestibular Wellness Coaching
Chronic dizziness can feel all-consuming, unpredictable, and isolating - like your life is no longer in your control. You're stuck in fight-or-flight, scanning your body for symptoms the moment you wake, afraid to make plans, replaying every "what if." Little by little, your world gets smaller.
It doesn't have to stay this way.
Vestibular Wellness Coaching gives you real tools to calm your body when dizziness hits, break out of the fear and "what ifs," and get back to the life you've been putting on hold.
Vestibular warriors graduate from coaching:
• Trusting their bodies again
• Allowing sensations to move through them without a panic response
• Navigating life without waiting for symptoms to disappear
Vestibular Mindset Coaching is a structured, supportive process designed to help you rebuild safety, shift out of fear, and feel truly supported every step of the way.
Does this sound familiar?
Constantly checking your body to see if symptoms are starting
Replaying episodes, trying to figure out what caused them
Feeling scared to exercise, drive, walk alone, travel or do things you used to love
Hesitating to try new treatments because of how your body might react
Overthinking every plan: "Should I go? What if I can't get home?"
Googling symptoms for reassurance and feeling worse afterward
Feeling stuck between wanting your life back and being afraid of making things worse
None of this means you're doing something wrong. It's your nervous system trying to protect you.
Coaching helps it learn it doesn't have to stay on high alert.

-Building calm in your body. Learning calming and regulation techniques you can use anywhere, including practicing regulating your system in real time as symptoms rise in session. More than just talk: practice and guidance. Over time, you build the capacity to notice a sensation without freaking out or ruminating over it.
-Getting back to what you've been avoiding. Whether it's driving, social plans, exercise or travel, we break it down and reintroduce it step by step, in a way that feels safe but still moves you forward.
-Support with the rest of your care. We talk through treatment plans from your other providers, so you're not carrying all of that alone.
-Consistent support through ups and downs. Healing from chronic dizziness is anything but linear - the ups and downs of symptoms, confidence and doubt, trust and fear, wins and setbacks, acceptance and frustration. I know the nitty gritty of the ups and downs, and our container holds it all as we walk the path together.
Coaching becomes your Vestibular HQ, a place to download, process, and work through all aspects of your experience.
Wondering how much your mindset and nervous system are keeping you stuck in chronic dizziness?
The Coaching Difference
You've tried therapy, you've practiced reframing your thoughts, collected breathing techniques and apps, and tried to piece it all together into something that still hasn’t stuck. Vestibular Wellness Coaching bridges those gaps.
Working with someone who gets it. I'm a vestibular warrior myself. You don't have to explain, downplay, or prove what you're feeling. That relatability alone allows your nervous system to finally start to settle. I bring my experience directly into our work, informing the kinds of modalities and strategies we use.
Approaches and tools that reflect the reality of chronic dizziness. Fear doesn’t just live in the mind - it lives in the body, too, and you can’t think your way out of chronic dizziness and anxiety. We go beyond reframing thoughts or “thinking positively” and draw on somatics (working directly with the body and nervous system), mindfulness, and strategies that change not just how you think, but also how you experience.
Compassion – with direction. So many people with chronic dizziness are told it's "just anxiety," or that they should push through. I'll always validate what's real about your experience. I'll also point out the patterns that I see perpetuating fear, anxiety, and hopelessness, and give you the feedback and the push you need to move forward. We never move faster than the pace your system dictates, but we clear the path for it to develop more safety, trust, and capacity.
What Becomes Possible
Taking a walk around the block confident that if something comes up, you have tools to get through it, instead of staying home just in case
Feeling a wave of dizziness and letting it move through you without it turning into panic
Trying a new treatment or exercise without dreading how your body will react, and with more trust that you can navigate hiccups
Noticing yourself start to spiral and coming back to your breath and your feet on the floor, instead of heading to Google or ChatGPT for reassurance
Saying yes to dinner with a friend or a getaway without spending days bracing for it
Making decisions based on what you want, not on what your symptoms might do
Trusting yourself to handle whatever comes up
Talking with someone with compassion who personally could relate to my experiences and behaviors has made me feel less crazy. It's been eye opening to learn how I have been my own worst enemy with respect to calming my nervous system. Michael has a ninja way of hearing me try to explain a situation or feeling and he can pull out from my jumbled words the issue underneath. He is skilled in bringing our session discussions back to actionable items. I feel I leave each meeting more informed and clearer about what I need to do. The tips to address challenges in my day to day functioning are simple, small, and easy to implement. Michael is so patient with me, pushes but not in a way that ever makes me feel that I will fail. His sense of humor is appreciated and he is always professional. He is validating me with experiences I have or challenges I'm facing..."this is really common..." or "...I have been there, too..."

Meet Your Vestibular Wellness Coach, Michael
I’m Michael Arnstein, a personal coach specializing in helping individuals navigate life with chronic health conditions. Since 2020, I’ve navigated persistent post-concussion symptoms, including chronic dizziness, so I know the physical, emotional, and cognitive toll chronic symptoms take. I also know how isolating it can feel - and how challenging it is to find guidance that truly speaks to your experience.
My coaching draws on somatic practices, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral strategies, as well as my own experiences with Eastern philosophy and meditation, having been through many therapies myself (including vestibular visual) - a broad, eclectic approach that reflects the complexity of navigating the impacts of living with chronic conditions. Together, we’ll expand your sense of what’s possible and help you rebuild a bigger, more fulfilling life.
For many of my clients, I’m the first person they’ve worked with who truly understands what it’s like to live with chronic dizziness. I offer a space where you can show up exactly as you are, knowing that your experience is real and valid. And from that place, we work together to help you move forward - not just in managing your symptoms, but in building a life that feels bigger and more full of possibility.
I hold a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, am a certified IHP Level 1 Health Coach, and a certified mindfulness and compassion meditation teacher. My approach is informed not just by professional training and continued study in somatics and nervous system regulation, but by lived experience - including the deep personal work I’ve done with my own therapists and teachers.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No! Coaching is open to anyone living with chronic dizziness and/or other chronic conditions, such as (but not limited to), vestibular migraine, PPPD, Meniere’s, BPPV, concussion, or no diagnosis.
-
50-minute video sessions, typically once a week to begin.
-
No, and it isn't meant to be. Many of my clients have worked with therapists before or alongside working with me. Therapy often explores emotional history and mental health more broadly. Coaching is specialized to address everything the big picture to the nitty gritty of living with dizziness: practicing calm in your body, getting back to what you've been avoiding, and navigating the ups and downs with someone who's lived it. If talk therapy hasn't reached the physical side of dizziness for you, coaching often fills that gap.
-
I understand that chronic symptoms can be unpredictable. Feeling less than stellar isn't necessarily an obstacle to the work - it's often a valuable part of it because it informs how we move through the session and work with your experience in real time. That might mean slowing the pace, leaning more into guided work than dialogue, or practicing creating space to be with what’s present.
